Ideally, they would make a blog that you could categorize information yourself. I would like to have a site where I have bands and albums all listed together, and you can click on one and get to another. I do not do web programming, and so I haven’t figured out how to do this yet. I am a writer, and this format is the only one I know that enables me to reach some bit of the public while this work is still in progress. Because I am a historian and economist, with a busy research and teaching schedule, I don’t get to do this kind of writing as often as I would like; like Tolkien, I might have to wait until my 50s to really get to engage with this stuff as much as I want to. But in the meantime, when I have bits of spare mental energy, especially in between semesters, I will do a bit of this.
Anyway, meanwhile, You can click on my categories: artist, and album, and that way, you should see posts that relate to the artists/albums in question. That’s what I’m hoping will happen – we’ll see!
I will experiment with parent pages. Maybe later, I can have artist posts, which are parents of album posts, which are parents of song posts. That would be the best, I suppose… but again, this remains a living experiment!
